WIND PROJECT Development – Allotment to Commissioning
Abletech has obtained self identified Capacity sanction Government Orders from the Government of Karnataka for developing the Wind Projects. Abletech offers a single point Turnkey solution to investors who are interested in setting up wind projects by develeloping the entire project and transferring the complete project to potential investors.
1. Name of the Project: 10.0 MW Wind Power project
Kundoor Village, Honnali Taluk, Davangere District.
The Investor for the Project is M/s Rohan Solar Power Pvt Ltd. The project was executed in association with M/s Mysore Mercantile Company Limited. 5 Nos of 2 MW Wind Turbine Generator of M/s Gamesa is installed and the project was comissioned on 23rd December 2015.
Scope of work:
Providing civil and electrical infrastructure for installation of 10.0 MW wind power generators along with evacuation system by constructiung 33/66KV, 12.5 MVA pooling sub-station at kundoor village, construction of 66 KV Transmission line and 66KV Bay extension at KPTCL substation in kundoor
Nature of work & technical features:
A. Business Development.
1. Idetifying potential investor for the project.
2. Finalising 5 Nos of 2 MW Wind Energy Generator (WEG) of Gamesa Make.
3.Preparation of Wind Research Analysis Report and Generation estimation.
B. Civil works
1. Conducting road survey
2. Construction of main and interconnecting roads with culverts.
3. Constructions of plat farm for each WEGs.
4. Foundation of WEGs.
C. Electrical works
1. Constructions of 33KV intra-farm lines to connect all the WEGs with the pooling station.
2. Construction of 12.5 MVA 33/66 KV pooling station with control room at Kundoor village.
3. Conducting Detailed and check surveys of Tranmsission line.
4. Construction of 66kV SC transmission line with DC towers between the pooling station and KPTCL station using ACSR Coyote conductor.
5. Construction of 66KV bay extension at Kundoor KPTCL station
6. Obtaining all statutory sanctions and approvals from revenue, forest, Energy department PTCC, CEIG, KPTCL etc for the project
2. Name of the Project: 46.2 MW Wind Power Project ,
Hirekerur, Ranebennur and Byadgi Tuluk, Haveri District.
Abletech has taken up develepement of 46.2 MW Wind Power project in Hirekerur, Ranebennur and Byadgi Taluk of Haveri District. The Project is taken up in association with M/s Suzlon Energy Limited. Revenue land of 88 Acres has been obtained from Government of Karnataka on lease basis. Other approvals and acquisition of land from forest department is under progress.
A. Business Development
1. Identifying potential investors in coordination with M/s Suzlon.
2. Marketing total turnkey project with Investors.
3. Preparation of Wind Research Analysis Report and Generation estimation report for the proposed Wind Turbines.
B. Civil works
1. Conducting road survey and construction of main and interconnecting roads with culverts.
2. Constructions of levelised platforms for each WEG.
3. Option of foundation for WEG is open to investor’s.
C. Electrical works
1. Constructions of 33KV intra-farm lines with VCB centres wherever required to connect all the WEGs and lead it to the pooling station.
2. Construction of pooling station with control room at Hirebudihal village.
3. Conducting detailed and check surveys for transmission line.
4. Construction Evacuation transmission line with between pooling station and KPTCL station.
5. Construction bay extension at KPTCL station for evacuation of 46.2MW wind power and.
6. Obtaining all statutory sanctions and approvals from revenue, forest, Energy department , KPTCL, CEIG, PTCC etc for the project.

Gojanur Village, Laxmeshwar, Shirahatti Taluk, Gadag District, Karnataka

Nature of work & Technical features :
1. Design, supply, construction and commissioning of 33KV Group control station at Wind farm end.
2. Design, supply, construction and commissioning of 33KV intra farm overhead transmission line from 2MW Gamesa Make WEG to 33kV Group control station.
3. Design, supply, construction and commissioning of 33kV over head transmission line for a distance of 09 Kms from 33KV Group control station to 110/33kV Laxmeshwar, KPTCL sub-station.
4. Design, supply, construction and commissioning of terminal Bay with metering arrangements at 110/33kVLaxmeshwar, KPTCL sub-station.
5. Obtaining drawing approval & commissioning certificate from KPTCL, HESCOM & CEIG.

2. Name of the Project:Evacuation of 18MW Wind Power from Arishinagundi& 16.5MW from ,
Anabaru, Davanagere District

Nature of work & Technical features :
1. Construction & Commissioning of 2 x 16 MVA 66/33KV Sub-station with control room, water facilities etc for VWTIPL.
2. Construction & Commissioning of 2 x 8MVA, 66/11KV substation with control room . ( Constructed and handed over to KPTCL to facilitate the evacuation of 18 MW Wind power generated from this project )
3. Construction & Commissioning of 66KV SC line from Nayakanahatti to Hiremallanahole for KPTCL.
4. Construction of 33 KV DC and SC Lines on RSJ and RCC poles for a length of 16 KMs from pooling substation to Wind farm.
5. Obtaining drawing approvals & Commissioning Certificate from KPTCL & CEIG as well as from PTCC.
3. Name of the Project: 5 MW Wind Power Project for M/s Vestas RRB Ltd at
Bettadanagenahalli, Chitradurga District

3. Construction of 10 Nos. of 750KVA, 11KV/690V, Transformer Yards with Accessories on DP Structure
4. Construction of 10MVA, 66/11KV Pooling Sub-Station at Wind farm end with necessary equipments and Control Room.
5. Construction of 66KV Single Circuit Transmission line on Kalpataru design DC Towers using Coyote ACSR Conductor for about 6.4 KMs.

3. Obtaining drawing approvals & Commissioning Certificate from KPTCL & CEIG.
4. 33 KV Transmission line from Pooling Substation to the wind farm for a length of 9 Kms along with Metering and Breaker yard at the wind farm.
6. Name of the Project: 2MW Wind Power on Turnkey basis ,
Mavinahunda, Raibhag Taluk, Belgaum District on behalf of M/s.Vestas RRB India Ltd., Chennai.

3. Construction of 4 Nos. of 750KVA, 33KV/690V, Transformer Yards with Accessories on DP Structure for 4 Nos. 500KW WECs of M/s.Vestas RRB.
4. Construction of 1 No. Outdoor VCB cum metering yard.
5. Construction of 33KV Single Circuit Transmission Line on 11 meters ISMB using Coyote ACSR Conductor for about 13Kms. & Rabbit ACSR Conductor for about 1 Km.
6. Bay Extension at Kabbur KPTCL 33KV Sub-station.
7. Obtaining drawing approvals & Commissioning Certificates from KPTCL & CEIG.
7. Name of the Project: 22.5MW Wind Power ,
at Guheshwaragudda, Biderekere, Jaglur Taluk, Davangere District.

1. Construction of 29 Nos. of 1250KVA, 33KV/400V, Transformer Yards with Accessories on DP Structure for 11 Nos. 750KW WEC & 7 Nos. 900KW WECs of M/s. NEG Micon.
2. Construction of 3 Nos.Outdoor VCB cum Metering yards.
3. Construction of 33KV Single Circuit Transmission Line on 9.5 meters RCC Poles using Coyote ACSR Conductor for about 4 Kms. & Rabbit ACSR Conductor for about 3 Kms.
4. Obtaining drawing approvals & Commissioning Certificate from KPTCL & CEIG.
